Joseph Wolf, Jr., 93, was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Rose Wolf, and brother of the late Stanley Wolf.
Joe was born in Louisville, attended Male High School, Speed School of Engineering and Jefferson School of Law. He practiced real estate in Louisville for more than 60 years.
Joe served in the South Pacific during WWII, as a member of the Navy. He was a Past Master at the St. George Masonic Lodge #239 F&AM, and a founder and past president of Temple Shalom. He was an avid reader, loved horse-racing, golf and food; but his main passion and selfless devotion was his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by Joyce, his wife of 67 years; his children, Wendy Wolf of St. Louis, Missouri and Dr. Bruce Wolf of Nashville, Tennessee; his sisters in-law, Norma Baker and Vera Wolf; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Temple Shalom, 4615 Lowe Rd. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
