On November 30, 2021, Quinn Edward McKnight unexpectedly died in his Louisville home. He was 38 years old.
Edward, a life-long Louisvillian, was born October 28, 1983, to Kathyanne (Arthur Granzeier) and the late Albert McKnight.
He was known for his orderly, stylish attention to detail in every aspect of his life. These traits served him well as the family’s technology guru and the former manager of Bristol Bar and Grille Downtown. In addition, Edward’s extensive knowledge and love of music, movies, and comic books, made for easy conversations with people he met.
With Rachel, Edward met the love of his life, and they started planning a family together right away. Edward loved his son William and loved being a dad. He would take his young son to watch the airplanes at Bowman Field on his days off.
Edward was preceded in death by his father Albert, his soon to be brother-in-law John Norman.
Left to cherish Edward’s memory are his fiancé Rachel Norman, son William, mother Kathyanne Azzara (David), grandmother Juanita Bickers, brother Aaron (Theresa) McKnight, nephews Aidan and Alexander, step-brother Brandon Azzara and step-sister Brittany Azzara.
A celebration of Edward’s life will take place January 2, 2022, from 2-5pm at Bristol Bar and Grille Downtown. The family appreciates memorial donations made to his son William in place of flowers.
